Caps arrive with the septum already seated, correctly oriented and dimensionally verified, which removes the most common cause of autosampler leaks and needle damage. Bonded-in septa stay in place when the needle withdraws; Locked-Fit (MSQ) septa are cleaned to MS-quality specification.
