Overview
The MAS Cold Plate holds a large number of cassettes on its 47 x 30 cm working surface. Cooling efficiency matters, so the cold plate was designed with an environment-adaptive control module that keeps the operating temperature stabilised at 35 °C under ambient.
It can be used as a stand-alone unit for re-cooling blocks prior to sectioning, or as part of an embedding centre to cool moulds after paraffin dispensing.
