The PowerPro range is a family of versatile multi-function power supplies covering a wide range of electrophoresis applications. All three models share a 2.4” TFT-LCD screen, microprocessor control, five pairs of shrouded outputs, built-in pre-set protocols for Cleaver Scientific electrophoresis systems, and the ability to create and save user protocols (up to 30 programmes of up to 6 steps each). Each can be operated at constant voltage, constant current or constant power, and a pause/resume key allows any run to be halted for gel inspection and restarted from the same position.
PowerPro 300 — at 300 V, 700 mA and 150 W it has nearly twice the current and power of the market-leading equivalent unit. Ideal for routine horizontal electrophoresis using multiSUB Mini, Midi and Choice, and vertical electrophoresis using omniPAGE Mini.
PowerPro 3AMP — at 300 V, 3000 mA and 300 W it is designed for virtually all high-current applications. Its higher current output is perfect for electroblotting units with high-intensity plate electrodes, particularly omniBLOT maxi, VS20 WAVE and semi-dry blotting systems. Timed runs up to 999 minutes in constant mode suit overnight transfers at constant low current.
PowerPro 500 — with 500 V, 800 mA and 300 W it is an excellent general-purpose unit that fits the broadest range of applications and can run as many as four units under constant or programmable settings. Well suited to techniques that benefit from gradual stepwise changes such as DGGE and large-format vertical PAGE using VS20-DGGE and WAVE systems.
